Take Heart: Christ Has Already Overcome

When the world feels heavy and grief runs deep, we look to Jesus—the only One who brings true peace and lasting healing.

The heaviness in the world is real right now. With the sudden loss of Charlie Kirk, my heart aches—not just for his family, but for the body of Christ and for our country. He was a man unashamed of the Gospel, a bold warrior for truth, paving the way for freedom for his children and generations to come.

As I’ve reflected, I’ve also noticed something stirring: so many people walked into church this past week. Some for the first time ever. Others for the first time in a long time. And it made me stop and think—this is exactly what we need right now. As a world, we need to be looking to Christ.

Because when tragedy strikes, when evil seems loud, when fear grips our hearts, there is only One who can truly bring peace, hope, and healing.

The Same Truth in Divorce and Heartbreak

I’ve spoken with so many women recently who are ready to step onto their healing path after divorce. They are Christians. They pray. They worship. And yet—they still feel the weight of a heaviness that just won’t seem to lift.

Friend, I know that feeling deep in my bones. I remember walking through it myself—the prayers, the tears, the sleepless nights—wondering if the ache would ever go away.

It wasn’t until I walked through six transformational components—the very ones God later led me to build into my program—that my healing truly began to take root.

The Six Transformational Components (Program Modules)

  • 1

    Letting Go

Release the past and the weight of “what ifs,” so God can begin to do a new thing.

  • 2

    Forgiveness

Walk the hard but freeing process of forgiving others—and yourself—so bitterness no longer owns your future.

  • 3

    Gratitude

Shift your heart to notice God’s goodness, even in the middle of pain, and rebuild joy one step at a time.

  • 4

    Mindset (Part 1 & 2)

Learn five key mindset shifts and exchange lies for God’s truth, moving from victimhood to victory.

  • 5

    Prayer

Rebuild a prayer life that draws you closer to God in every season—simple, honest, and powerful.

  • 6

    Community

Surround yourself with godly support and accountability so you never walk this journey alone.

These components will not just help you get onto your path of healing from divorce—they will help you for the rest of your life as you face challenges, transitions, and trials. Each one equips you with biblical truth and practical tools to overcome whatever may come your way.

The Promise of Christ

“In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” — John 16:33 (NIV)

That’s the hope we cling to. Whether it’s the grief of losing a leader, the pain of divorce, or the everyday battles against darkness—we take heart because Christ has already overcome.

Moving From Heaviness to Healing

Healing doesn’t mean the hurt never happened. It means you learn how to release it into God’s hands and step into the freedom He promises. It means no longer carrying the burden alone.

When I finally surrendered my brokenness, God used these six components to transform my life—and that’s why I now walk women through the same process in my program. If you’re in that place today, take heart. Your story isn’t over. The same Jesus who rose from the dead is the same Jesus who will raise you up out of the ashes of heartbreak.
